Impossible to Possible

How many times has some one told you that you couldn't do something? How many times has your own little voice told you that you,

"You can't get straight A's."

"You can't get into college."

"You can't be successful."

"You can't have a great career."

"You can't........"

You may think those things are impossible. Your own little voice may have you convinced that you cannot achieve your dreams. It's wrong. In fact, the only thing that is limiting you, is yourself.

Remember the "ShoeToss" activity. You and your team achieved amazing results because you did the following:

  1. Teamwork - You supported each others ideas and efforts to improve.

  2. Creativity - You found ways, without breaking the rules, to get better results. It required the sharing of new ideas and the important skill of listening.

  3. Work Smarter - You took a look at the rules and the system. You figured out how to keep the same pattern but increase your speed by getting closer, passing the objects instead of throwing, shifting positions in the circle.....and more. Each new idea enabled you to improve and learn.

  4. Have fun with a problem. - When you were challenged, you continued to play with new ideas. When you keep things fun, people stay involved and everybody wins.

By applying those concepts, you drastically improved your results. You can do that in real life too. Use those same concepts everyday when you are faced with something that seems impossible. You'll become a magician. A person that turns the impossible into the possible.
