There's P.O.W.E.R. in Leadership!  As a young boy growing up the oldest of a single parent housekeeper, I discovered that everyone has the P.O.W.E.R. to live a life of purpose and meaning.  In my presentation, I will explore the word P.O.W.E.R. as an acronym that will help shape how one becomes a leader within his or her family, school environment, and extended community.  Lets get started:

 

P = Purpose Driven.  Without a goal in sight we never know where we are going!

 

O = Opportunity Chaser.  If you want it...go get it!

 

W = Willingness to Go Solo.  FEAR is not an option...Stepping into your promise!

 

E = Enthusiastic Spirit.  People like to hang around people that have it going on!

 

R = Relationship Builder.  Everything you do centers around how you treat somebody else.

 

Understanding and applying the elements of P.O.W.E.R have helped me go from being homeless as a high school senior to graduating from Harvard and Stanford Universities.  Now you get to experience how the P.O.W.E.R. in your own Leadership can transform your life into action and results.  See you at the finish line!
