Welcome to the web journal
for the 2007 Youth Leadership Summit.
This event was attended
by 34 scholars from around the country, representing the
GEAR UP community of 1.1 million youth.
These scholars were
hand-selected and challenged to create solutions for the
problems that students across the country face on a
daily basis.
The resulting report and
dynamic presentation in front of nearly 2000 constituents
demonstrated the power of the youth community.
Congratulations to all of
this years' scholars on a job well done!
